Previous participants have announced more than $103 billion in US investment projects within five years of attending, supporting more than 167,000 US jobs.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"lazyload aligncenter wp-image-12177 size-large\" src=\"data:image\/svg+xml,%3Csvg%20xmlns%3D%27http%3A%2F%2Fwww.w3.org%2F2000%2Fsvg%27%20width%3D%27696%27%20height%3D%27521%27%20viewBox%3D%270%200%20696%20521%27%3E%3Crect%20width%3D%27696%27%20height%3D%27521%27%20fill-opacity%3D%220%22%2F%3E%3C%2Fsvg%3E\" data-orig-src=\"https:\/\/roncucciandpartners.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/05\/selectusa-investment-summit--1024x766.jpeg\" alt=\"\" width=\"696\" height=\"521\" \/><\/p>\n<h2>The participation of Roncucci&amp;Partners North America Inc.<\/h2>\n<p>As <strong>Roncucci&amp;Partners Srl<\/strong> we felt it was our duty to participate in this event, having opened a <strong>new unit in Miami<\/strong>, Florida: <a href=\"https:\/\/www.roncucciandpartners.com\/en\/?page_id=2981\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><strong>Roncucci&amp;Partners North America Inc.<\/strong><\/a><\/p>\n<p><strong>The purpose of this new foreign office of ours, well the seventh, is to provide high quality services locally to enable the international expansion of Italian and foreign companies in the American market.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Our participation in the SelectUSA Investment Summit has allowed us to create contacts and connections with most of the public, private and\/or public-private entities involved in attracting investments in the various American states.<\/p>\n<h2>Government and Foreign Investment Data<\/h2>\n<p>According to what we learnt at the event, there are 3 sectors in which the US government will make major investments in the coming months: technology, pharmaceuticals, and renewable energy. In fact, <strong>large-scale investments have been announced<\/strong> that will benefit research and development in these sectors.<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>CHIPS and Science Act<\/strong><br \/>\nSigned by President Joe Biden on 9 August 2022, the act allocates approximately $280 billion in new funding to promote domestic research and semiconductor manufacturing in the US.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Inflation Reduction Act<\/strong><br \/>\nOn 16 August 2022, President Biden signed the Inflation Reduction Act, marking the most significant action taken by Congress on clean energy and climate change in the nation&#8217;s history.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Infrastructure Act<\/strong><br \/>\nThe Bipartisan Infrastructure Law is a historic investment in America that will change people&#8217;s lives for the better and turn the country around.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h2>US market: many opportunities for Italian companies<\/h2>\n<p><strong>The United States (OECD data 2021) is the world&#8217;s top destination country for FDI, foreign direct investment<\/strong>. There are several reasons why companies are interested in investing in the country, such as the size and strength of the US economy, political and legal stability, developed infrastructure and a strong business culture.
