It was a real pleasure to see so many people at the meeting organised by Euteknos in Rovigo, in the modern setting offered by the innovative t2i incubator, on 26 February to talk about digital tools for internationalisation and thus digitalisation of the artistic manufacturing industry<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

Euteknos is a Regional Innovative Network (RIR), i.e. a network that brings together enterprises, institutions and research centres committed to the enhancement of artistic and traditional manufacturing in the Veneto region.Its mission is to investigate and propose innovative projects in terms of materials, production techniques and, more generally, solutions that, while keeping alive the creative vein of companies operating in the glass, wood, metal or leather sector, can bring these realities into the modern and digital world.It is an ongoing commitment to digital innovation for the Made in Italy and thus to the digitisation of the Veneto’s artistic manufacturing industry.<\/p>\n

The central theme of the meeting was the role of digitalisation in the process of internationalisation of artisan excellence, with the aim of fostering the competitiveness of local enterprises on global markets.<\/strong><\/p>\n

It saw the main participation of the consulting firm Roncucci&Partners that, through the contribution of its President, Giovanni Roncucci, and the moderation of the round table \u2018What future for the internationalisation of artistic manufacturing: new tools\u2019<\/strong> by Stella Occhialini, Senior Project Manager Roncucci&Partners, accompanied entrepreneurs and institutional representatives in a discussion focused on the potential offered by new technologies for the artisan sector. Among the topics discussed, the fundamental role of digital platforms for the promotion and sale of artistic artefacts emerged, highlighting how e-commerce, social media and immersive technologies can transform the way in which artisans relate with international customers and collectors<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

Special attention was given to 3D printing, augmented reality and blockchain, tools that can improve the traceability, customisation and security of artworks and artefacts. Digital storytelling strategies were also discussed, with the importance of communicating the cultural value and history behind each creation in order to involve a wider audience sensitive to Made in Italy.<\/p>\n

Digital innovation for Made in Italy and artistic manufacturing<\/h2>\n

The President of Euteknos reiterated that artistic manufacturing in the Veneto region represents a heritage of inestimable value<\/strong>, but faces major challenges in the era of globalisation. Digitalisation offers extraordinary opportunities to overcome geographical barriers<\/strong>, making craft products accessible to a wider and more diverse market. However, the adoption of digital tools requires investment, training, and a change of mindset on the part of industry players.<\/p>\n

In fact, one of the aspects most discussed by the representatives of CNA Veneto and Unioncamere Veneto was the relationship between tradition and innovation: how can technology be integrated without distorting the identity and uniqueness of craft production? Giovanni Roncucci stressed that there are possible solutions and that the importance of a \u2018hybrid\u2019 approach, in which digital technologies are used to enhance tradition rather than to replace it, is crucial.<\/p>\n

In this context, the Euteknos network acts as a catalyst for innovation, supporting craft businesses on their path to digital transformation, through training projects, access to funding and the creation of synergies with the world of research and design.<\/p>\n

The Rovigo event confirmed that digitisation is no longer an option, but a necessity to ensure the sustainability and growth of the sector. If well managed, it can be the key to making the excellence of Veneto’s artistic manufacturing known and appreciated around the world, while keeping alive the skills and traditions that make it unique<\/p>\n
