Macadamia: The World in the Rainbows of Memory

The macadamia is a nut from Brazil, but no nut has a more onomatopoeic name to evoke something exotic, dreamlike, that recalls a collection of things. A singular name that encompasses something plural. The travel stories, but not only, that this volume collects are flashes of color in an ideal rainbow, spanning more than 20 years, where the countries visited by the author are small episodes of people, events, or even just sensations. In all of them, however, at the end of the reading, there is a moment of reflection, intimate and private, which does not aim to be moral, but simply a way to try to share feelings. The perspective is open, always starting from a country, Italy, which itself changes with a speed that makes us lose the dimension of what we have been in order to then try to be something tomorrow as well.
