From May 5 to 8, TUTTOFOOD, the international B2B exhibition dedicated to the world of food & beverage, was held in Milan. A benchmark for the entire food and beverage industry, TUTTOFOOD 2025 once again confirmed its status by creating export opportunities for Italian companies.
An Event that Keeps Growing on an International Scale
Established in 2013 and now in its 10th edition, TUTTOFOOD has seen its relevance grow steadily, both in terms of numbers and quality of participants. The 2025 edition registered more than 4,200 exhibitors from more than 70 countries. These include Spain, Greece, Germany, Turkey, South Korea, the United States, Thailand, Brazil and South Africa. More than 90,000 professionals attended, with a strong international presence: about 30 percent of visitors came from abroad.
What’s New at TUTTOFOOD
Among the main novelties introduced at TUTTOFOOD 2025 are new areas that have enriched and expanded the exhibition program. These have enhanced the event’s role as a platform for innovation and international comparison.
A Focus on Sustainability and Innovation
Much attention was also paid to sustainability and innovation, through the creation of the Better Future Arena. This space is a thematic arena that hosted talks, showcooking and workshops dedicated to topics such as green packaging, foodtech, traceability, artificial intelligence and sustainable food supply chains.
Making Room for Young Italian and International Enterprises
Another highlight was the Startup Area, which provided a place for young Italian and international companies capable of proposing innovative solutions in the fields of food, packaging, logistics and digital technologies.
A Designated Area for International Business Matching
In parallel, the international business matching program was reinforced through collaboration with ICE – Agency for the promotion and internationalization of Italian companies. ICE facilitated thousands of B2B meetings between exhibitors and foreign operators from Europe, the Americas, Asia and the Middle East.
Italian Food Export: a Growing Excellence
TUTTOFOOD is the Ultimate Showcase for the Italian Agribusiness Sector
In this context, TUTTOFOOD confirms itself as a privileged showcase for the Italian agrifood sector, which continues to perform exceptionally well in international markets. According to data released by ICE during the fair, in 2024 Italian agrifood exports reached a record value of 69.1 billion euros, up 8% from the previous year.
The Most Relevant Foreign Markets
The main destination markets remain Germany, the United States, France, the United Kingdom and Spain. However, there was also a significant progress towards new geographical areas, such as Canada, Poland, the United Arab Emirates, South Korea, Vietnam, Australia and Belgium. These markets, often characterized by a growing demand for quality, made in Italy, healthy and traceable products, represent new and interesting horizons for Italian companies.
Attendance from Around the World, with Asia Leading the Way
Confirming the international nature of the event, delegations from Asia-Pacific stood out among the foreign trade visitors at TUTTOFOOD 2025. They were mainly from China, to meet the growing demand for premium and certified quality products, and from Japan, Indonesia, Kazakhstan, Thailand and the Philippines. These are countries with high growth potential, interested in establishing business relationships with Italian companies.
Concrete Opportunities for Italian Companies
A Strategic Tool for Accessing Foreign Markets
Taking part in TUTTOFOOD represents much more than a showcase of products: it is a strategic lever for internationalization. One-to-one meetings with international buyers, matching activities, training and educational sessions on trends, packaging and sustainability make the exhibition a unique opportunity to understand the dynamics of global markets and target one’s business strategies.
A focus on Current Topics
In addition, with its strong focus on sustainability and innovation, the 2025 edition highlighted themes such as ecological packaging, digital traceability, plant-based, and new technologies applied to food preservation and processing. Fundamental themes to win the interest of international buyers who are increasingly sensitive to these aspects.
Roncucci&Partners: Alongside Companies to Tackle Foreign Markets
In this dynamic scenario, Roncucci&Partners participated in TUTTOFOOD 2025 by accompanying client companies in the agri-food sector with whom it had started a structured internationalization process. The presence at the fair was the result of a planned activity that included the analysis of target markets, the definition of a tailor-made export strategy, the preparation of promotional materials in the language, and the organization of meetings with foreign buyers.

For companies looking to expand their international presence, an exhibition like TUTTOFOOD is the perfect opportunity to:
